Every entity closed. One group view.
For whoever runs the numbers for more than one company. Keep each entity in its own books, consolidate with intercompany balances eliminated, close the month from a checklist and hand the board a packet. Your agent can do the reading, even from your phone.

5110Consolidation
One group view. No double counting.
Each entity keeps its own books. Consolidated views add them up and drop the accounts flagged intercompany, so a loan from the holding company to a subsidiary isn't counted twice. Switch elimination off to see what it prevents.

Shipped Consolidation with intercompany elimination. Equity-method elimination is not included, and every entity keeps its books in US dollars.
Shipped A line can only use an account of its own entity, checked in the app and by a database trigger, so one entity's books can't leak into another's.
5120The close
Close from a checklist. Keep the history.
The month-end you already run, with the controls written into the ledger instead of a spreadsheet beside it.
Reconcile, then lock
Match the ledger to the statement. A locked reconciliation can't be edited or deleted, only reopened on the record.
A checklist for every period
Periods are open, closed or locked. Close from a checklist, and every close, lock and reopen stays in an append-only history.
Approvals before posting
Entries can wait in an approval queue until someone with the right role signs off.
Packets and board packs
Profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance and cash flow, bundled into one packet for owners or a board. The cash flow statement is a simplified first version.
The CFO workspace
A CFO's view across entities, including the owner-pay true-up.
Share or export
Share a statement by link, or export it to CSV.
5130Fractional CFOs
Each client, in a database of its own.
If you keep books for several clients, keep them apart. On managed hosting, every client gets an instance and a PostgreSQL database of their own, so one client's books never sit in another's database.
One instance per client
Its own app, database, document storage, backups and domain. Managed hosting is an invite-only beta while we onboard firms.
Many entities per client
Inside a client's instance, each company and the household is its own entity, and consolidation groups roll them up.
Onboarding and support for firms
The software is free. We charge for hosting, firm onboarding and support. There are no published prices yet.
5140Your agent
Ask the books. Approve the drafts.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex to an instance and it reads the same ledger you do, limited to the entities and year you grant. It can draft an entry for your review. It cannot post, approve or close.

How agent access works →1000The ledger
Double-entry, the strict way
Every entry balances, every posted entry is permanent, and every correction leaves a trail.
Journal with draft, post and void
ShippedEntries move from draft to posted. Posting is refused until debits equal credits to the cent.
Reversing entries
ShippedA posted entry is never edited or deleted. You correct it with a reversing entry, and both stay on the record.
Journal approvals
ShippedEntries can wait in an approval queue until someone with the right role signs off.
A ready-made chart of accounts
ShippedA 118-account library mapped to IRS Schedule C and Form 1120 lines. Every account drills into its register.
Recurring and memorized entries
ShippedSave an entry once and schedule it, from rent to monthly accruals.
Documents on the record
ShippedAttach receipts, bills and statements to the entries they support.
Period close
ShippedPeriods are open, closed or locked, with a close checklist and an append-only history of every close and reopen.
1100Entities
Every company, and the household, in one place
Each entity keeps its own books. Consolidated views add them up and eliminate what they owe each other.
Separate books per entity
ShippedCompanies, holding structures and personal finances are each a first-class entity with their own chart and periods.
Consolidation with intercompany elimination
ShippedAccounts flagged intercompany drop out of consolidated reports, so the group view does not double count.
Note: Equity-method elimination is not included.
Lines never cross entities
ShippedA line can only use an account that belongs to its own entity, checked in the app and by a database trigger.
